The Committee would like to put the following proposals to the AGM, for discussion and adoption.
1) To increase the membership fee’s by £2, “across the board.”
2) Addition to Rule 25 (7) :
At the end of the paragraph, add a new paragraph which will read:
“If the Committee receive no response, or payment after 28 Days, at the discretion of the Committee, a CCJ will be applied for to recover the monies owed”.
2 Items for discussion:
1) The Committee have been asked to purchase Parasols for the Balcony Benches. Due to damage from high winds etc, a storage box has also been purchased. Members need to take a Parasol from the box, for use and put them away, after use. How can we ensure that members will return the Parasols to the box, after use?
2) The Association must now comply with the Port and Marine Facilities Safety Code, (PMSC).
A document has been written, which must be signed by all boat owners. This covers the safe use of Equipment, Chemicals, Paints etc in the compound. Also that they are aware of Environmental restrictions and guidelines while fishing. These include restricted area’s due to habitats, Sea grass, Molluscs etc.
Full details are being collated and will be available from the website and “hard Copies”.
Shortly.
